Jim Lindenberg, Owner, Milwaukee Wave; President, Milwaukee Wave of Hope
From the moment he founded World Class Wire and Cable in 1994, Jim Lindenberg has turned risks into success to become one of southeastern Wisconsin’s best-known entrepreneurs.
He left a comfortable job to empty his savings and launch his own wire, cable and tubing manufacturing company, building it into an industry leader within five years. The company earned the Future 50 Award, recognizing it as one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Southeastern Wisconsin, from 1998-2000. In 2007, World Class Wire and Cable was named Waukesha County Business of the Year and one of the Top 5,000 businesses in the United States by Inc. 500 Magazine. Jim was selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration as Wisconsin’s 2005 Small Business Person of the Year, and was a finalist for the national award in 2000. In 2007, Ernst & Young named him Entrepreneur of the Year for both Wisconsin and the Lake Michigan Area. He is just the 15th person worldwide to simultaneously hold the CSE (Certified Sales Executive) and CME (Certified Marketing Executive) certifications.
He sold World Class Wire and Cable to Anixter Inc. in 2008. Jim now operates JML Holdings, a commercial and residential property broker; Lindy Enterprises, a business consulting firm; Milwaukee Wave, the longest running Indoor Professional Soccer Team in the country.
In the community, Jim was named New Berlin Citizen of the Year in 2003, and was also honored as a 2003 Hero at Home by CNI Newspapers. He also sits on the board of the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce, Milwaukee Urban Soccer Collaborative, UW-Whitewater Business Advisory Board and Entrepreneur Advisory Board.
Jim is an active youth sports sponsor and coach. He supports numerous schools, libraries and youth groups.
Jim has five children and lives in the Lake Country area.
Chellee Siewert, Owner/President, Capture Marketing
Chellee Siewert is the Owner/President of Capture Marketing. Siewert is also a Director for the Wave of Hope. Siewert was previously the VP of Marketing for the Milwaukee Wave. Siewert was responsible for the marketing, public relations, communications, merchandising and budgeting. Siewert negotiated media buys and partnerships securing over $191,000 in free media. She developed a first of its kind for a professional sports franchise, s charitable jersey program. This partnering of eleven charities, media and corporate partners resulted in donations of over $50,000 to charities. Siewert also negotiated a Nike partnership increasing merchandise net sales. Finally, she coordinated celebrity appearances, including Aaron Rodgers.
Siewert was the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at the Metropolitan Builders Association from 2004-2008. During her tenure at the MBA she has been instrumental in the success that the MBA realized as it grew to become the 14th largest home builders association in the country. In her role she increased the marketing and public relations for the Association by launching a consumer magazine, Abode, the MBA’s radio show, Today’s Home, and the MBA’s searchable website. She has also initiated other branding efforts and introduced several large philanthropic projects that allowed the MBA to demonstrate their commitment to community.
Prior to the MBA Siewert worked in the non-profit industry for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Wisconsin Chapter and Rogers Memorial Hospital. Siewert is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Outside of the MBA, Siewert enjoys spending time with her husband, Brett and her two children Cole and Cade. She is also a member of the MMAC, Waukesha County Business Alliance and is active with the Hebron House Foundation.
Lou Brazzoni, VP of Regional Sales, Time Warner Cable
Lou Brazzoni, Vice President, Regional Sales – Midwest, joined Time Warner Cable in 2007 as the Vice President of Sales for the Wisconsin Division. He has served in his current capacity since January of 2009. He is responsible for all sales channel operations and performance in the Midwest Region.
Before joining Time Warner Cable he was the director of sales for U.S. Cellular in Wisconsin. He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned his degree in business administration.
Lou, his wife Jane and three children, Joey, Nick, and Isabella reside in Waukesha, WI. In his spare time, Lou enjoys coaching his kids in various sports and vacationing with his family at their cabin in Minocqua.
Keith Tozer, Coach, Milwaukee Wave
After 25 seasons as an indoor soccer head coach, 17 with the Milwaukee Wave, Keith Tozer has compiled more victories than any other coach in North American indoor soccer history. He has 603 regular-season victories, and 51 more in the postseason. His indoor record includes 21 winning seasons, seven “Coach of the Year” Awards and four league championships. He has coached nine All-Star teams.
While with the Milwaukee Wave, Tozer has:
- Led the Wave to their first league title during the 1997-98 season with a 28-12 season record, winning the division and conference championships
- Compiled a 19-1 record at the Bradley Center during 1997-1998
- Compiled a 17-3 at home and had a 25-15 regular season record along with a playoff berth during 1998-1999
- Recorded a 22-2 mark at home during the 1999-2000 season and a league-best 31-13 overall record while leading the Wave to their second NPSL title in three years along with another division and conference title
- Led the Wave to second consecutive title after fashioning 24-16 regular-season record in 2000-2001
- Guided Wave to league-best 34-10 record, including MISL record 22-0 at home in 2001-2002
- Compiled seven league “Coach of the Year” honors, having received the award during the 1995-96, 1997-98, 1999-2000, 2001-02, 2002-03, 2007-08 campaigns and 2009-2010.
Won his fourth championship with the Wave in the 2004-05 season, going 4-0 in the playoffs
Trenni Kusnierek, Sports Talk Show Host, AM620-WTMJ
Trenni Kusnierek is the host of Sports Central on AM620-WTMJ. Kusnierek is a Milwaukee native who has worked as a sports reporter for networks such as ABC, Big Ten, MLB, and NFL. She began her career in Eau Claire, WI and has since covered a Super Bowl, a World Series, two NCAA BCS title games, two US Open Golf tournaments, and playoff rounds in all four major sports.
