Making Waves is the largest, multifaceted, multimedia community outreach program by a professional sports team in the state. In 2009, the Milwaukee Wave soccer players went to more than 100 Wisconsin schools and approximately 23,000 students, teachers, administrators and family members.

  • In School Assemblies — Milwaukee Wave soccer players lead an educational, all school assembly that instructs children on physical wellness, positive life skills learned through teamwork and good sportsmanship and the joy and success gained by participating in the game of soccer. Schedule an assembly
  • School Day Games — Schools from the assemblies are invited to attend one of three Wave School Day Games where the children experience a professional soccer game and see the teamwork and sportsmanship they learned about at the school assemblies in action. No child is denied attendance because of inability to pay.
